Virtual education goes rural

This article focuses on the Nemmadi centres in Karnataka that train rural students to prepare for the highly competitive Common Entrance Tests (CETs). These centres are equipped with computers, VSAT and microphone making them virtual and interactive classrooms. Though the course fee at present appears to be quite high, efforts are also on to provide fee waiver to outstanding students. It is hoped that the centres will help reduce the urban bias of the CET results.
