Government to sniff your emails

The recent terror attacks in various parts of the country during which terrorists allegedly hacked into wireless networks to send emails warning of imminent attacks has prompted the central government to consider monitoring e-mails on a full time basis. For this, the government has decided to install specialised software to check the content of e-mails which flow over four or five major ISPs. Although there are around 150 odd ISPs, the decision of the government to monitor e-mails on the network of 5 ISPs is on account of the fact that most emails tend to pass on the major networks and the likelihood of these mails being intercepted are far higher with this modus operandi.
